Machine operator
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Setup: Set up machines before the production process, ensuring they are calibrated correctly for specific foil manufacturing tasks.
- Operational Duties: Operate machines and equipment according to established procedures, safety guidelines, and production schedules.
- Monitoring: Continuously monitor machine operations, including speed, temperature, and other relevant parameters, to ensure smooth and efficient production.
- Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections and quality checks on foil products to identify defects or irregularities. Remove substandard products and report issues to supervisors or quality control personnel.
- Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged parts, to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and technical issues promptly. Collaborate with maintenance technicians for more complex repairs.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors.
Education
Qualifications and Eligibility:
- High school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
Experience
- Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not always mandatory.
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment, tools, and machinery is an advantage.
Skills
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand and operate complex machinery.
- Attention to detail to identify defects and irregularities in foil products.
