Machine Operator – Polymer/Paint Masterbatch Manufacturing

Sone India is looking for a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team in the Masterbatch Manufacturing unit, specifically handling polymer-based and pigment (paint) applications. This role involves operating machinery for mixing, extrusion, and pelletizing of masterbatches used in the plastics and coatings industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor masterbatch production machinery (e.g., extruders, mixers).
• Load raw materials (polymers, pigments, additives) as per batch instructions.
• Ensure product quality through routine visual and mechanical checks.
• Maintain clean and safe working conditions in line with company policies.
• Record daily production data and report deviations to the supervisor.
• Perform minor equipment maintenance and assist in troubleshooting issues.
• Follow SOPs and adhere to safety and quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in production efficiency.

Qualifications:

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or relevant discipline.

Skills & Requirements:

• Prior experience in plastic, polymer, or paint manufacturing is an advantage.
• Willingness to work in shift operations.
• Good understanding of production safety and machinery handling.
• Strong attention to detail and discipline in following process instructions.
