Logistics Operation Manager

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operation Manager to lead our logistics team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and logistics operations, with a proven track record of optimizing processes and managing teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to optimize supply chain processes.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and retailers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Analyze logistics data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
• Manage and lead a team of logistics staff, providing training and support as needed.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with transportation and warehousing service providers.
• Monitor and report on the performance of logistics operations, providing insights to senior management.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of logistics software and systems (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in team management and leadership.
