Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be managing aspects of output in your area: Controlling performance, metrics, process improvements & People management.
  • Monitor and analyse delivery performance & Closure on Open shipments.
  • Coordinate all aspects of B2C logistics day-to-day operations including transportation planning, route optimization, carrier management, and delivery scheduling
  • Reconciliation of Open Shipments.
  • Maintain and develop KPIs and SLAs.
  • Report and escalate issues to management as necessary and in a timely manner, Both Internal & External
  • Contribute to process improvements and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Evaluate gaps in the process & report Tech driven approach changes.
  • Develop and maintain strong communication processes to ensure smooth and efficient flow of accurate information across external customers (logistics partners) and internal customers (Finance, Technology, Fulfilment Centres, customer Service).
  • Lead and motivate a team of logistics coordinators, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to pull data from numerous databases (using Excel /or other data management systems) and to perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • 5-6+ years of operations leadership experience in a similar fast-paced process driven distribution/logistics environment.
  • Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration. Engineering background.
  • Experience with lean management principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
  • Expertise in working with 3PL logistics partners and managing last-mile delivery networks. Strong data analysis skills - Ability to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from data
  • Good computer literacy: Excel, word warehouse management systems and other relevant technologies.
  • Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills are critical to success in this position.
  • Business case decision-making, complex problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent leadership & communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels.
  • Team player who can facilitate successful project work, operating to deadlines.
