Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced legal professional to manage and oversee the Company's litigation portfolio. The role involves handling end-to-end litigation matters, representing the Company before various judicial and quasi-judicial forums, and working closely with internal stakeholders and external counsels to drive effective legal outcomes. The ideal candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of independently managing complex legal matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage litigations filed by and against the Company across various Courts, Tribunals, and Quasi-Judicial bodies.
- Draft and finalize legal pleadings, including Plaints, Written Statements, Replies, Affidavits, etc.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage the litigation portfolio.
- Represent the Company before Courts, Tribunals, and Quasi-Judicial bodies as required.
- Liaise with judicial/quasi-judicial authorities and external counsels.
- Handle police-related escalations and complaints involving the Company.
- Draft and finalize responses to legal notices received by the Company.
- Develop and execute litigation strategies and manage litigation budgets.
Key Requirements
- LL.B. Qualified
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience in litigation.
- Strong command over procedural laws.
- In-depth understanding of rules and practices across Courts, Tribunals, and Forums.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Prior experience in consumer and insurance-related litigation (preferred).
- Ability to work independently and manage cases with minimal supervision.
- Strong team player with the ability to perform under pressure.
