We're looking for a LinkedIn Strategist who thinks in hooks, speaks in wit, and has strong opinions about what makes content actually work.
You'll own the voice and growth of two LinkedIn presences (personal + company) and repurpose that content to grow our X pages. You'll be the person who takes a half-baked idea and turns it into a post that makes people stop scrolling and start thinking.
If your idea of a great post is a vague inspirational quote with 47 fire emojis, this isn't for you. If you've ever read something mediocre go viral and felt personally offended - you might be exactly right.
What you'll own
- Develop and execute content strategy for our founder's personal LinkedIn and the company LinkedIn page
- Write, edit, and post consistently hooks, carousels, long-form posts, comment replies, the whole ecosystem
- Repurpose LinkedIn content for X adapting tone and format to fit the platform's culture (they are not the same, and you know that)
- Grow follower counts and engagement across both platforms with an actual strategy, not just vibes
- Track performance, report on what's working, and pivot without being precious about it
- Stay ahead of platform algorithm shifts, trends, and formats and actually act on what you learn
- Collaborate on ideas, extract insights from the founder, and translate them into compelling content
What you're actually like
- Genuinely funny not haha funny, but smart-funny. There's a difference.
- Creatively restless you're always noticing what's working elsewhere and wondering how to apply it
- A little obsessive about good writing you rewrite your own messages before sending them
- Direct, confident, and opinionated about content but open to feedback when it's good
- Organised enough to manage a content calendar, flexible enough to jump on a trend at 9am
What you need to bring
- A portfolio of LinkedIn or X content you've built or grown numbers matter, but voice matters more
- Exceptional English writing skills. You know the difference between smart and sharp and trying too hard
- A natural sense of wit and sarcasm that lands without alienating (harder than it sounds)
- Ability to write in someone else's voice without losing what makes it interesting
- Strong grasp of what works on LinkedIn vs. X they're different beasts and you treat them that way
- Comfort with data: you check analytics, draw conclusions, and act on them
- Self-direction you don't need someone to hold your hand through every post
Bonus: You've grown an account from scratch. Double bonus: You have opinions about why most LinkedIn content is boring and you're ready to prove it.
