Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Legal Manager - Insolvency & Stressed Assets to lead legal matters related to insolvency, debt recovery, and stressed asset resolution. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in SARFAESI Act, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code (IBC), Companies Act, and debt recovery litigation, with hands-on experience representing or coordinating matters before DRT, NCLT, and other judicial forums. This role requires excellent litigation management, legal drafting, and stakeholder coordination skills to support complex restructuring and recovery assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete lifecycle of proceedings under the SARFAESI Act and Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code (IBC) while ensuring compliance with statutory timelines.
• Draft, review, and respond to legal notices, including handling representations under Section 13(3A) of the SARFAESI Act.
• Coordinate and manage proceedings before Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT), National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), and appellate authorities.

Key Requirements:

• LL.B. or LL.M. from a reputed university or top-tier law school.
• 5+ years of experience in Insolvency Law, SARFAESI, Debt Recovery Litigation, or Banking & Finance Law.
• Strong knowledge of the SARFAESI Act, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code (IBC), Companies Act, DRT Act, and related banking laws.
