Job Summary:

This is a key business partnering role designed to partner top-line functions for Danone in India. The candidate is expected to display owner's mindset and agility while working with cross-functional functions to support a growing business in India.

The incumbent will be a part of the Legal & Compliance function under the General Secretary Director in India.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze risks & opportunities on various laws governing the business, with focus on food laws, consumer protection laws, intellectual property law, data protection laws, competition law and anti-corruption law.
• Lead the CLM implementation process in India alongside partnering functions towards drafting, standardizing and negotiating contracts.
• Handle litigation matters by liaising with external legal consultants
• Conduct legal watch and ensure comprehensive and on-going knowledge of emerging trends and subjects that have potential to impact to the CBU.
• Driving IT simplifications tools & digitization within the function and across other functions in India to ensure better record keeping.
• Drive implementation of policies and SOPs across functions
• Lead Data Privacy implementation in India
• Lead Digital Projects with structured risk mitigation plan for the business
• Partner key functions on advisory and risk mitigation while identifying key growth opportunities

Candidate Profile:

• LLB with 5-8 years of experience (experience in legal advice, drafting and research)
• Experience working with FMCG / FMCD / Law Firms
