Key Responsibilities
- Draft, vet, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts (franchise, lease, marketing, tech, MoUs, supply, and service agreements).
- Ensure contracts are legally sound, compliant, and protect company interests.
- Manage company secretarial work preparation of Board Resolutions, Minutes, Annual Filings, and Statutory Registers.
- Handle filings on MCA & RBI portals (FCTRS, FCGPR, FLA) and ensure timely compliance with Companies Act & FEMA regulations.
- Provide legal and compliance support for new business initiatives and respond to legal notices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to mitigate legal and operational risks.
- Liaise with external counsels and assist in audits (internal/external).
- Conduct legal research and monitor regulatory updates relevant to business operations.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Education: LLB / LLM
- Experience: 37 years in corporate legal, contracts, and secretarial functions
- Strong understanding of Companies Act, FEMA, and commercial contract laws
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Attention to detail with strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
