Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, vet, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts (franchise, lease, marketing, tech, MoUs, supply, and service agreements).
  • Ensure contracts are legally sound, compliant, and protect company interests.
  • Manage company secretarial work preparation of Board Resolutions, Minutes, Annual Filings, and Statutory Registers.
  • Handle filings on MCA & RBI portals (FCTRS, FCGPR, FLA) and ensure timely compliance with Companies Act & FEMA regulations.
  • Provide legal and compliance support for new business initiatives and respond to legal notices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to mitigate legal and operational risks.
  • Liaise with external counsels and assist in audits (internal/external).
  • Conduct legal research and monitor regulatory updates relevant to business operations.
  • Desired Skills & Qualifications

    • Education: LLB / LLM
    • Experience: 37 years in corporate legal, contracts, and secretarial functions
    • Strong understanding of Companies Act, FEMA, and commercial contract laws
    • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
    • Attention to detail with strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
