Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Counsel based in New Delhi. The Legal Counsel will handle legal document preparation, ensure compliance with regulations, and manage legal affairs. Responsibilities include providing expert legal consultation, navigating regulatory requirements, and supporting the company in maintaining legal and ethical standards. The role also involves close collaboration with internal teams across the Group to identify and address legal risks and ensure that business activities are conducted in alignment with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards. Candidates should possess between 3 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in legal advisory, contracts, litigation, and compliance within regulated or corporate environments.

Qualifications and Key Responsibilities Area.

• Strong understanding of law with the ability to provide sound legal counsel, strategic advice, and practical risk-based solutions to business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated proficiency in legal drafting, contract management, and legal documentation, including the preparation, review, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements.
• Extensive experience in legal compliance, regulatory advisory, litigation management, and overall legal affairs, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience working across regulated sectors, including real estate, manufacturing, and other compliance-intensive industries, with an understanding of sector-specific regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to manage contracts, dispute resolution, litigation strategy, and compliance frameworks while aligning legal strategy with business objectives.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to address complex legal and regulatory issues effectively.
• Strong academic background with consistent academic performance and a solid foundation in legal principles.
• Highly committed and adaptable professional with the ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments and remain responsive to business needs beyond conventional working hours when required.
• Proven ability to handle multiple legal assignments simultaneously with a high level of attention to detail, professional judgment, and confidentiality.
• Experience in regulated product sectors is considered an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Law with relevant professional certifications, registrations, or licenses as required.
