Job Description

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including MSAs, vendor contracts, NDAs, leases, and strategic business contracts.
  • Act as a business advisor, supporting multiple stakeholders across sales, operations, finance, HR, product, and senior leadership.
  • Manage end-to-end litigation and dispute resolution, including civil, commercial, consumer, and criminal matters, in coordination with external counsel.
  • Develop litigation strategy, review pleadings, and handle matters before courts, tribunals, and statutory authorities as required.
  • Support M&A transactions, including legal due diligence and review of transaction documentation for acquisitions and investments.
  • Provide advisory on regulatory compliance, governance frameworks, and internal risk mitigation processes.
  • Handle intellectual property matters, including trademark and copyright portfolio management and enforcement.
  • Advise on legal frameworks for new business initiatives, technology-driven projects, and process innovation.
  • Deliver practical, solution-oriented legal advice aligned with business objectives and risk appetite.

The Successful Applicant

An ideal candidate would possess:

  • LLB from a recognised law institute is a must-have, LLM is an advantage.
  • Strong percentage in 10th and 12th Standard is a must-have.
  • 8-12 years of PQE, preferably in a combination of corporate in-house and law firm roles.
  • Strong experience in commercial contracts, corporate advisory, and litigation management.
  • Sound understanding of contract law, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution, and IP matters.
  • Ability to manage legal matters independently with a business-first mindset.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
