A corporate law firm's business-services team is hiring a Legal Analyst through Flexiple. The team sits between the partners and the associates, producing the research, trackers and first-pass reviews that matter documents depend on. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams in India.

What the Analyst Owns

You will take research and review requests from associates and senior associates across the M and A, financing and regulatory groups, and turn them around as clear, sourced notes rather than raw case dumps. You will also keep the firm's internal knowledge bank current, so that the same question is not researched from scratch every quarter.

Day-to-Day Work

• Research company law, FEMA, SEBI and sector-regulation questions and summarise the position with citations
• Run first-pass reviews of contracts, shareholder agreements and diligence data-room documents against a checklist
• Build and maintain issue lists, conditions-precedent trackers and closing checklists for live matters
• Track regulatory amendments and circulars and prepare a short fortnightly update for the practice groups
• Prepare draft board resolutions, notices and filings for associate review

Who Fits

• 2 to 5 years in a law firm, in-house team or legal-research role
• LLB or LLM from a recognised university; a company-secretary qualification is a plus
• Sound legal writing and the habit of checking every citation twice
• Comfort with Excel, document comparison tools and legal databases

Helpful to Have

• Time on the diligence side of a private-equity or M and A deal
• Familiarity with MCA filings and the Companies Act forms
