AND Academy is a design upskilling venture launched by the Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD), a leading design school in India established in collaboration with Kingston School of Art, London. We offer part-time Certificate, Diploma and Post-Graduate programs in Graphic Design, UX UI Design, and Interior Design, taught remotely online through live interactive sessions. With a curriculum developed by industry stalwarts and experienced academicians, our mission is to make learning design accessible, affordable, and industry relevant.
With more than a decade of experience in higher education, the team at AND Academy brings its expertise to online design education to create active, interactive, and collaborative learning experiences through live sessions and strategic tech integration. This role is for individuals who can adapt themselves to our learning-teaching methodology and bring along their professional expertise to help graduates and working professionals transform their careers through design training.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design / Communication Design from a reputable institution.
- A minimum of 5 years of industry experience in the field
- Some teaching experience will be considered an added advantage.
What we are looking for:
- Strong understanding of fundamental concepts of design, as well as the concepts, processes, methods, techniques, and digital technology (including software skills) pertaining to the specialized field of Graphic Design / Publication Design / Brand Communication / UI Design
- Domain knowledge should be backed with practical professional experience of using these in an industry & business context, as well as an updated knowledge of trends and technology.
- A tech friendly attitude as you will be working on multiple digital platforms to collaborate and interact with colleagues as well as learners. If you are a tech-enthusiast, that will be an added bonus!
Role and Responsibility:
You will join our teaching team at AND Academy as a full-time faculty. Based on your area of expertise you will teach on any of our programmes–Graphic Design, UX UI Design.
- Your main responsibility will be to implement our well-structured curriculum and course delivery plan through teaching, mentoring, and assessments.
- This will be done through two roles:
>Module Instructor - i.e. teaching a module through interactive live sessions that include hands-on working
>Module Leader - i.e. being in charge of the instructional design for the module, and supervising the overall quality of delivery by other instructor
- Besides conducting the live sessions (online classes) with students, this will also include developing study material, planning class interactions & activities, developing assignments & project briefs, providing constructive feedback (written / verbal), facilitating tech integration, and managing course delivery on our world-class Learning Management System.
- You will also actively participate in course monitoring and enhancement activities to continually improve the quality of student learning and experience.
- You should proactively seek opportunities to stay abreast of new techniques and processes in the area of your expertise through industry projects, research, conferences, seminars, workshops, certifications, etc.
- You will be networking with the industry to facilitate student exposure, interactions, internships, and placements.
- You will be required to collaborate with the admission team, corporate communications team, and career services team to contribute to student enrollment, brand building, and student placements through information and interactions.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues demonstrating a high level of team spirit and contribute as an active member of a progressive community of practitioners.

Working Hours –
- 5 days per week: Monday-Friday
- 9 AM to 5 PM work from the office on days with no classes
- On class Days: 9 AM to 2:30 PM work from the office and 7 PM - 10 PM from home
- 1 day per week work from home - after 2 months of starting work.
