We are seeking experienced Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in English Language Arts (ELA) and Social Studies to support a large-scale content development project aligned with the U.S. K-12 curriculum (Grades 312).
The selected SMEs will work on developing standards-aligned instructional materials, lesson content, and assessments designed to support engaging and effective learning experiences for students.
This is a remote, contract-based opportunity for educators, curriculum developers, and subject experts with strong knowledge of the U.S. education system and academic standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality instructional content aligned with U.S. curriculum standards.
- Create lesson plans, reading passages, activities, and assessments for Grades 312.
- Design ELA content focusing on reading comprehension, writing skills, grammar, and critical analysis.
- Develop Social Studies content, including history, geography, civics, and economics.
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and academic rigor in all developed materials.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including instructional designers and content reviewers.
- Revise and improve content based on feedback and quality review.
- Utilize digital authoring tools and AI tools where required.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in English Language Arts or Social Studies
- Experience with U.S. K-12 curriculum standards
- Curriculum development or content creation experience
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to create engaging learning content for different grade levels
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms or educational technology
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Education, History, Political Science, Geography, or related field
- Experience teaching or developing curriculum for Grades 312
- Prior experience in content development, curriculum design, or instructional writing is preferred
