Learning Content Specialist
Work location: India - Remote (Shift timings: 6 AM to 3PM EST)
Primary Function of Position
The Learning Content Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of learning programs and deliverables according to department policies and procedures.
Essential Job Duties
Upon onboarding and completing required certifications, the Learning Content Specialist will:
2026 90% PM of implementation, / 10 content development
o Conduct peer review and QA of deliverables
o Partner with content developers, LMS administrators, and Implementation Administrators to implement training content on Intuitive Learning, ISU, and Seismic platforms
o Ensure accurate tracking of training content throughout the implementation and translation process and provide regular status updates to CL&D teams
o Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues that arise during the implementation and evaluation phases
o Identify opportunities to streamline the implementation process
2027: 70% of implementation 30+% content development
o Collaborate within the team and with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop or update learning content
o Assist in evaluating learning content using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods to drive design/development improvements
Required Skills and Experience:
2-4 yrs. relevant professional experience
Strong project management Smartsheet manage project mgt tool, manage timelines, prioritize, escalate
Preference LMS before implementing or administration.
Project / program management training
End to end ADDIE model
Strong communication and collaboration,
Strong follow up skills
Strong preference who has worked with med large US companies, EU
Multitask and manage multiple things at once, prioritize work, deadline driven, efficient, excellent attention to detail, high quality of work
Process driven
Proactive initiative
Ability to sign-off on applicable technical and/or clinical content
Experience designing and developing eLearning, instructor-led training, and assessments
Demonstrated application of adult learning theory
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Experience working and collaborating with SMEs and other Instructional Designers to create learning content
Ability to work with instructional design processes, tools, and templates
Ability to prioritize multiple development projects and deadlines, and adapt to project changes
Strong organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Must provide work samples and/or portfolio
Required Education and Training:
College degree or completion of relevant certificate/bootcamp
Software proficiency:
o Articulate Rise - basic
o Articulate Storyline basic
o Adobe Indesign
o MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
o Smartsheet or equivalent project management tool
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in biotech or medical device organization preferred
Curriculum Development or Instructional Design/Technology, Education, or Science/Engineering degree preferred
Delivery of training in a professional or classroom setting
Adobe Creative Cloud proficiency preferred
