The Senior Lead Specialist - VMware and Linux is responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing VMware virtualization environments and Linux-based systems to ensure high performance, availability, and scalability. This role focuses on troubleshooting and providing deep technical expertise in VMware and Linux systems management, as well as proactive monitoring and issue resolution. The candidate will work closely with internal teams to ensure the smooth operation of the infrastructure and support for business-critical applications.

Job Description :

• VMware vSphere & ESXi – In-depth experience managing VMware environments, including vMotion, HA, and DRS.
• Linux Systems Administration – Extensive experience with Linux distributions, shell scripting, and automation tools.
• Monitoring Tools – Experience with Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, or other monitoring platforms.
• Troubleshooting – Strong diagnostic skills for system performance, application, and network issues.
• Virtualization & Storage – Understanding of storage technologies (e.g., iSCSI, NFS, vSAN, and Fibre Channel).
• Automation & Configuration Management – Experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for automating tasks and system configuration.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery – Knowledge of VMware and Linux backup solutions, including snapshots and disaster recovery planning.
