About The Team
This position is for Direct banking solutions under Liquidity & Core banking Technology. Team would be focusing on developing / implementing customized enhancements based on business requirements, Periodic Upgrades, maintaining Direct Banking solutions.
Impact
Responsible for technical and operational leadership encompassing both developers and support analysts. The role demands advanced expertise in enterprise-scale application development using .Net Core, SQL Server, Redis, and Angular. Core accountabilities include translating business and technical requirements into actionable assignments, maintaining high standards of engineering excellence, and ensuring production support coverage during US off-hours. The position requires hands-on leadership in system architecture, code and design review, technical troubleshooting, and process optimization, as well as direct collaboration with US-based leads for resource planning and delivery management. A proven record in leading distributed teams, driving continuous improvement, and upholding operational stability in complex environments is essential.
Key Deliverables
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the India-based development team, including software developers and support analysts
- Ensure clarity of assignments, priorities, and deliverables for all team members
- Deliver technical direction and feedback across both development and support activities
- Facilitate daily collaboration with US-based development leads to enable effective resource allocation and sprint planning
- Ensure requirements, status, and priorities are clearly communicated across global teams
- Participate in architectural design sessions, code reviews, technical troubleshooting, and solution design activities
- Uphold high standards for code quality, engineering best practices, and technical delivery across technology stack
- Proactively identify and resolve technical risks and blockers
- Oversee offshor support analysts and serve as the primary escalation point for support issues during US off-hours
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, support operations, and team effectiveness
- Contribute to the development and evolution of engineering standards, documentation, and technical tooling
Skills And Qualification
Minimum 8 years of software development experience with modern full-stack platforms(.Net Core/Java, relational/document databases, and React/Vue/Angular ; experience with Redis or Kafka is advantageous
At least 3 years in a technical lead or team lead capacity, with direct oversight of distributed teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a proven ability to bridge regional and functional boundaries
Demonstrated hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying microservice architectures, including practical use of containers, (such as Docker) and orchestration platforms (such as Kubernetes)
In-depth knowledge of modern software architecture patterns, development best practices, and SOLID principles, with a proven ability to apply these concepts to large-scale, maintainable enterprise systems
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies in distributed team environments
Background in enterprise-scale application development and production support
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and modern engineering workflows
