Job Description

SMG Lead

  • Monitoring and Improving Service Management Processes:
  1. Tracking the effectiveness of Incident, Problem, Change Management,MIM,SACM processes.
  • Incident Management:
  1. Coordinating and contributing to the resolution of critical and high-priority incidents. 
  2. Leading Major Incident calls and creating RCA documentation for major incidents. 
  • Change Management:
  1. Driving the change management process, including attending meetings and participating in CAB (Change Advisory Board). 
  2. Analyzing change records to identify trends and potential issues. 
  • Problem Management:
  1. Supporting investigations to resolve problems between teams and ensure end-to-end SLAs are met. 
  • Stakeholder Management:
  1. Building and maintaining strong relationships with various teams and stakeholders. 
  2. Communicating effectively and influencing stakeholders to drive service improvements. 
  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
  1. Developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve organizational goals.
  2. Handling budgets and ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  1. Leading and managing a team of service management professionals.
  2. Providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  1. Analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  2. Generating reports and presenting findings to stakeholders. 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of ITIL framework and service management principles. 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team, providing guidance and mentorship.
