About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with 4-6 years of experience to lead capital improvement and commercial fit-out projects across multiple locations in India. The ideal candidate will bring a strong civil engineering background and proven experience managing large-scale projects end-to-end, from initial site identification through opening and final handover.

This role sits within the Physical Group and requires close collaboration with architects, designers, procurement, community, sales, and facilities teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The Project Manager will own the project lifecycle - from due diligence and bidding to execution, opening, and handover to Community and Facilities. The role demands strong stakeholder management, the ability to keep cross-functional teams focused, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously at different stages of development.

Roles and Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution:

. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure successful project execution.
. Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, and consultants to oversee all phases of the project lifecycle.
. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure project milestones are achieved.

Budget Management:

. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints and cost-saving measures.
. Review project expenditures regularly and identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.

Stakeholder Communication:

. Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, both internally and externally.
. Collaborate with stakeholders, including external consultants related to government agencies, regulatory bodies, and local communities, to address concerns and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

. Implement quality control measures to ensure that all project deliverables meet or exceed established standards and specifications.
. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Education and desired qualification:

. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or similar discipline with sound knowledge of MEP services. Master's degree or professional certification is a plus.
. Proven experience (4-6 years) in managing large scale fit-out and capital improvement projects, in construction sector.
. Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.
. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.B1
. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
. Sound knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry best practices.
. Ability to travel as required to various project sites across India.
