Role Description

A dedicated outbound specialist focused on building pipeline for InsurNest through LinkedIn and email campaigns — targeting decision-makers at insurance carriers, MGAs, brokers, and reinsurers. This is a pure execution role: prospecting, outreach, follow-up, and lead handoff.

LinkedIn Outreach

  • Send 20–40 targeted connection requests daily within platform limits
  • Run structured follow-up message sequences post-connection (3–4 touch points)
  • Build and maintain prospect lists using Sales Navigator or manual search
  • Engage with prospect content (likes, comments) to warm up accounts before outreach

Email Outreach

  • Build and manage targeted prospect email lists (sourcing, verification, enrichment)
  • Write and send personalized cold email sequences — typically 4–6 steps over 2–3 weeks
  • Manage deliverability basics — bounce rates, unsubscribe handling, reply monitoring
  • A/B test subject lines and CTAs to improve open and reply rates

Multi-Channel Coordination

  • Combine LinkedIn and email into coordinated sequences (e.g., connect on LinkedIn → email follow-up → LinkedIn message)
  • Avoid overlap and duplication across channels for the same prospect
  • Track all touchpoints in one unified tracker or CRM

Reporting & Handoff

  • Weekly reporting on: requests sent, connection rate, email open/reply rates, conversations started, leads handed off
  • Flag warm responses immediately for follow-up by you or a closer
  • Maintain a clean, updated CRM or pipeline tracker at all times

Qualification

Must-have:

  • Proven hands-on experience with LinkedIn outreach — not just conceptual knowledge
  • Cold email experience — writing sequences, managing a sending tool, tracking metrics
  • Strong written English with the ability to personalize at scale
  • Familiarity with email tools like Instantly, Smartlead, Lemlist, or Mailshake
  • Understanding of email deliverability basics — SPF/DKIM, warm-up, bounce management
  • CRM or tracker discipline — HubSpot, Apollo, Notion, or equivalent
  • Self-directed with consistent daily output — this role lives and dies on volume + quality

Good to have:

  • Exposure to insurance, insurtech, or B2B financial services — even basic familiarity helps with messaging
  • Experience with LinkedIn automation tools like Expandi, Dripify, or Waalaxy
  • Ability to source and enrich prospect data using Apollo, Hunter.io, or ZoomInfo
  • Basic copywriting instinct — knowing what makes a subject line or opener work
