Skilled at identifying decision-makers across innovation, R&D, strategy, and corporate functions, and driving early-stage engagement for high-value advisory offerings. Strong ability to translate complex IP, technology scouting, and market research solutions into compelling value propositions for enterprise clients.
Core Responsibilities
Prospecting & Lead Generation – Must have
· Identify and build target account lists (Fortune 500, R&D heads, innovation teams)
· Use platforms like LinkedIn, CRM tools, and databases to source leads
· Focus on identifying and reaching potential clients and generating pipeline
Outbound Outreach – Must have
· Execute multi-channel outreach (email, cold calls, LinkedIn, events)
· Craft personalized messaging around consulting offerings (IP research, benchmarking, tech scouting)
· Initiate conversations—not close deals—aligning with SDR role in early funnel stages
Lead Qualification – Should have
· Assess prospects based on need, budget, authority, timeline (BANT)
· Understand client pain points (innovation gaps, competitive intelligence, cost optimization)
· Qualify whether leads are worth pursuing before passing to sales
Meeting & Pipeline Management – Must have
· Schedule qualified meetings for senior consultants / account executives
· Maintain CRM hygiene and track pipeline progression
· Book meetings and hand off to closer
