Location: Flexible within India. Requires occasional travel to intervention districts as required.

Position Summary

The Lead – Fundraising & Strategic Partnerships will provide senior leadership to TAF's domestic resource mobilization efforts. This role will lead engagement with CSR departments, domestic philanthropists, and foundations to build long-term, strategic partnerships focused on public health outcomes. The incumbent will be responsible for driving growth in domestic funding, deepening partner relationships, co-creating impactful programs, and positioning TAF as a trusted, high-impact partner in the maternal and child health space.

Responsibilities

Strategic Fundraising & Partnerships

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive domestic fundraising and partnerships strategy aligned with TAF's mission and growth plans.
    • Build and manage a strong pipeline of CSR partners, domestic philanthropists, and foundations.
    • Identify opportunities for multi-year, high-value partnerships and institutional funding.
Partner Engagement

    • Lead engagement with donor partners to design joint programs and initiatives in maternal and child health and act as a senior interface between donor partners and TAF's leadership and field teams.
    • Facilitate partner exposure to TAF's on-ground work through field visits, reviews, and impact conversations.
    • Build long-term, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers in CSR and philanthropy.
Proposal Development & Fundraising Assets

    • Lead the drafting and review of high-quality concept notes, proposals, presentations, and reports ensuring that proposals are aligned with partner priorities while maintaining programmatic integrity.
    • Support the creation of compelling impact narratives and donor communication materials.
    • Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory and compliance requirements related to domestic fundraising. Uphold and reflect TAF's values, ethics, and commitment to accountability in all engagements.
Events & Innovative Fundraising

    • Conceptualize and lead event-based fundraising initiatives and donor engagement forums.
    • Represent TAF at relevant industry, CSR, and philanthropy platforms.
Skills And Experience Required.

    • 8-12 years of relevant experience in fundraising, strategic partnerships, or resource mobilization, preferably in the development or social impact sector.
    • Demonstrated track record of raising domestic funds for non-profits and sustaining growth over time.
    • Strong experience working with CSR teams, foundations, and high-net-worth philanthropists.
    • Familiarity with public health, maternal and child health, or allied sectors is preferred.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong ability to draft persuasive proposals and design partnership models.
    • Strategic thinker with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
    • Well-networked within the CSR, philanthropy, and social impact ecosystem.
    • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
    • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to domestic fundraising.
