Job Purpose

Ensure technical deliverablesmatchesprojectrequirements. Save engineeringcostthroughuseof productivity tools,standardization, re-use& application oftechnicalexpertise.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver/execute projects and ensure to meet 100% quality (Scope, Schedule and Budget defined for a project)andhigh levelof customer satisfaction.
Ensure project implementation follows the procedure ofRA engineeringand as defined in SSB Quality Management System (QMS).
Standardization in project and applications. Maximize reusabilityofstandardized documents,applicationsandengineering inprojects.
Support Team Leader/Execution Managerin managing team performance,developself and teamcapabilityandmotivatethe teamto deliver with high productivity.
Lead Engineers frommixof SSB, Global Engineering Center and CWF toattainproject scope within schedule and budget.
Break down project activities,identifyeffort/skillsrequiredto complete theactivitiesand sequence the activities. Communicates to his managerregardingthe resource requirement as per the schedule of project activities.
Proactive communication to team lead/ Execution Manager and Customer during project execution.
Keep improving self-engineering capabilities and exchange bestpracticewith other team members to improveteam'scapabilities.
Cost reduction through process & manufacturing improvement, through development of reusable engineering,engineeringstandardizationand use of available productivity tools.
Work closely withthe project management teamto achieve customer acceptance. Demonstrate application & technicalexpertisetogetrepeat ordersandretaincustomer satisfaction.Participates in capability demonstrations and sales support activitieswheneverrequired.

Job Related Competencies
Technical expert on RA hardware and software products like Control Logix, Logix 5000/Studio 5000, FT View SE,FT Batch. Additionally, candidates having good knowledge of FT Historian, FT Asset Management and Reporting tools like FT Vantage Point and SQL application will get preferred.Candidates withexpertiseonsimilar productsfrom other makes and who are quick learners may also apply.
Goodlevelofknowledgein Integrated Architecture, Standard Drives,Conventional/Intelligent Motor Control, Safety Products, MES / Information Systems,Networkingand a basic understanding of Motion Control, Medium Voltage Product and Drive System.
HighlevelofApplication KnowledgeinConsumer Goods,Food & beverageand basic understanding of Project Management, Lean Six Sigma Skill, EHS (Environment, Health & Safety).
Min 5-6 years ofcommissioning exposureoflarge process domain projects.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / WORK EXPERIENCE
Instrumentation / Control / ElectronicsEngineer.
10to12years of relevant experience inapplication and engineeringof the Automation SysteminFood & Beveragedomain.Efficient in handling the execution of project activities, executes critical projectactivitiesand gets the work delivered from team members.
Should have gone throughcompleteproject life cycle fromdesignphase to commissioningFood & BeverageIndustry.
Candidate with multiple industrydomain(Food & beverages, Consumer Goodsetc.)Knowledgewill be preferred.
Shouldhavegoodunderstanding ofBatch, Continuous and Discreteprocess.Should have sound knowledge of S88 standards, S95 Standards.
Candidatewith Knowledge of IDC,Virtual Machines andnetworkingwill getadditionalconsideration.
Is cost conscious and keeps an update of the cost incurred versus planned.Takes decisions during project execution to support the PMcontrolproject costs.
