Execute/ drive Seating Structure for Flawless Product Launches
Responsibilities
- Driving Robust Engineering
- Drive Structure Strategy – Frame / Mechanism- Competitiveness and region specific
- Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) to meet manufacturing requirements
- FEA result Interpretation and solutions to failures/improvements
- Understand and rectify Warranty/Field Issues
- Drive Structures Benchmarking
- Drive and conduct DFMEA
- Effective Communication with Global SME /CFT/Customer
- Project management & Tactical Plan
Required Skills
- Apply Problem Solving Tools (BEP- A3/A4)
- Conduct design reviews
- Manufacturing Processes & Tooling (DFA, DFM & Poka Yoke)
- Manufacturing Process and Tooling Knowledge - Structures
- Manufacturing and Assembly Process Knowledge - Structures and Mechanisms
- Sheet metal domain knowledge application
- Material knowledge and Welding guidelines to use for Structures components
- Drive Design For Assembly / Design For Manufacturing
Qualifications
BE Mechanical relevant Experience
