Key responsibilities
Develop and validate robotic simulation models.
Create models for BIW processes such as spot welding, arc welding, riveting, and material handling using software like Process Simulate.
Simulate and optimize robot performance: Analyze robotic paths, cycle times, reachability, and clash detection to optimize efficiency and cell layout.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work with design, controls, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless integration of robotic systems and optimize robot/EOAT placement and cell design.
Support virtual commissioning and offline programming: Facilitate the transition from virtual to physical environments and provide support for offline programming.
Perform design reviews: Provide simulation-based insights during design reviews and present simulation results and feedback to stakeholders.
Conduct analysis: Perform detailed structural analysis for strength, durability, and stiffness on vehicle body designs using FEA tools.
