Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Study new innovative trends in Data Center Industry in design, engineering, construction and operations
Collaborate with designers, vendors and technology partners
Build business case around the new trends and propose their use in AdaniConnex
Build prototype / Pilot project and develop vendor echo system
Define and execute the innovation roadmap for data center infrastructure and operations.
Evaluate emerging technologies including liquid cooling, AI-based monitoring, modular design, and renewable energy integration.
Lead pilot programs and proof-of-concept deployments for new technologies.
Collaborate with OEMs, startups, and research institutions to bring innovative solutions to production.
Drive initiatives to improve PUE, WUE, and carbon footprint across facilities.
Integrate circular economy principles and green building standards into design and operations.
Work closely with design, engineering, operations, and IT teams to align innovation with business goals.
Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Represent the company in industry forums, conferences, and technical panels.
Publish white papers and contribute to standards development.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering; PhD preferred.
10+ years of experience in data center design, operations, or technology innovation.
Proven track record of leading cross-functional innovation projects.
Strong understanding of thermal systems, power distribution, automation, and AI/ML applications in data centers.
Familiarity with global data center standards (ASHRAE, Uptime Institute, LEED, etc.).
Required Certifications
CDCP / CDCS / ATD – Certified Data Centre Professional / Specialist / Accredited Tier Designer
LEED AP or equivalent sustainability certification
PMP / PRINCE2 – Project Management certification (preferred)
Technology-specific certifications – e.g., AI/ML, Edge Computing, or Liquid Cooling (preferred)

Qualifications
Engineering BTech with 12-15 years of experience
8-10 years experience in Design & Engineering of complex MEP system
min 3-4 years of experience in design & engineering of Data Centers and Infrastructure management system
