Experience

We are looking for an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) SCM Functional Consultant with 10+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Supply Chain modules. The ideal candidate should have strong functional expertise in Inventory (INV), Purchasing (PO), Order Management (OM), and Manufacturing modules, along with proven rollout and implementation experience.

The consultant will play a key role in understanding business requirements, configuring Oracle EBS SCM applications, collaborating with technical and integration teams, and delivering comprehensive documentation across all project phases.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory (INV), Purchasing (PO), Order Management (OM) & Manufacturing modules
  • Participate in and support Oracle EBS SCM implementations and rollout projects, including multi-org and multi-location rollouts.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into functional designs and perform application configuration and setup.
  • Configure Oracle EBS SCM modules including organizations, sub-inventories, item setups, sourcing rules, workflows, approvals, and transaction flows.
  • Strong Order Management experience
  • Collaborate with technical and integration teams for development of: Interfaces, Reports & Customizations and extensions
  • Support data migration, master data validation, and transactional data reconciliation.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation across all stages, including: Business Requirement Documents (BRD),Functional Requirement / Design Documents (FRD/FDD),Configuration Documents, Integration specifications (functional inputs), Test scenarios, test scripts, and UAT support documents, Training materials and user guides
  • Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and defect resolution.
  • Provide end-user training and post-go-live stabilization support.

Required Technical/ Functional Competencies

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience as an Oracle EBS SCM Functional Consultant.
  • Strong functional knowledge of Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, and Manufacturing modules.
  • Hands-on experience in Oracle EBS implementations and rollouts.
  • Good understanding of end-to-end supply chain and manufacturing business processes.
  • Strong ability to convert business requirements into functional solutions.
  • Experience coordinating with technical and integration teams.
  • Good understanding of Oracle EBS data flow and standard APIs/interfaces.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle EBS R12 experience (mandatory).
  • Oracle EBS SCM certifications are an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of OPM & ASCP are an added advantage.
