Job Title: Sr. Analyst - Contract/ Legal

Location: Pune (5 days Onsite)

Shift: 2PM-11PM IST / 3PM-12AM IST

Experience: Minimum 8-10 Years

Summary:

Contract & Legal Analyst will independently manage the review, negotiation support, and governance of commercial contracts across global operations (US, India, UK). The role ensures contractual risk mitigation, commercial protection, compliance alignment, and disciplined contract lifecycle management within an IT services environment.

This position requires strong commercial judgment and the ability to operate with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Independently review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, amendments, vendor contracts, and subcontractor agreements.

• Assess contractual risk exposure (liability caps, indemnities, IP ownership, data protection, termination, payment terms) and provide structured risk summaries to leadership.

• Partner with Sales and Delivery teams during pre-sales and contract finalization cycles.

• Support cross-border contract reviews in coordination with US/UK counsel.

• Develop and maintain clause libraries, contract templates, and playbooks.

• Own contract repository governance, obligation tracking, and renewal management.

• Ensure contractual alignment with regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements.

• Support dispute documentation, claims analysis, and escalation preparation

Skills Required:

• 8-10 years of experience in commercial contract management or corporate legal roles

• Strong experience in IT services contracts.

• Exposure to US/UK contract frameworks preferred

• Demonstrated experience in contract negotiations and risk mitigation

• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management capability

• Bachelor's degree in law (LLB) or bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.

• LLM or diploma/certification in Contract Management, Corporate Law, or Legal Studies or related legal operations training preferred.
