Lead Automation & Robotics Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Automation & Robotics Engineer to drive the design, development, and execution of advanced warehouse automation and robotics solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ASRS, AGV, AMR systems, PLC controls, and system integration with proven leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

1.Lead end-to-end execution of automation and robotics projects from concept to commissioning.

2.Design and implement ASRS (Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems) solutions for warehousing and manufacturing environments.

3.Manage deployment and optimization of AGV (Automated Guided Vehicles) and AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robots) systems.

4.Develop, program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC control systems (Siemens / Allen Bradley / Mitsubishi / Omron preferred).

5.Integrate robotics systems with conveyors, WMS, ERP, MES, and third-party equipment.

6.Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, software, and operations teams for seamless project delivery.

7.Lead FAT, SAT, testing, and commissioning activities at customer sites.

8.Ensure system safety compliance, quality standards, and project timelines.

9.Analyze operational data and drive continuous improvement in system performance and uptime.

10.Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1.Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Automation Engineering.

2.5+ years of relevant experience in industrial automation and robotics.

3.Strong hands-on experience in ASRS, AGV, AMR technologies.

4.Expertise in PLC programming, HMI, SCADA, VFDs, sensors, servo systems.

5.Experience in system integration with WMS / ERP / SAP platforms.

6.Knowledge of industrial communication protocols: Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, OPC-UA.

7.Strong problem-solving and project management skills.

8.Good communication and customer-facing experience.

Preferred Qualifications

1.Experience in warehouse automation / intralogistics industry.

2.Exposure to simulation software and digital twin concepts.

3.PMP / Automation certifications are an advantage.
