Position Description
WHAT YOU'LL DO
The People Digital Product Portfolio has an immediate need for a senior level leader for our SAP Fieldglass system. As Interim Product Owner for SAP Fieldglass, you will provide temporary coverage for the existing live application while in constant alignment with the Product Owner who leads the global SAP Fieldglass transformation program. Your focus will be on maintaining operational stability, managing the backlog of enhancements and fixes, and ensuring continued delivery within the current production environment.
You will act as the day-to-day owner of the existing SAP Fieldglass product and ensure seamless business continuity during the transformation period.
You will represent the voice of the customer, whether internal or external, and make sure that squad priorities are aligned to business needs. You will do this through a deep functional understanding of HR process design coupled with a strong technical background. Successful product Directors will manage conversations with functional stakeholders from HR leadership and turn those discussions into action with the support of their squad members.
Among Your Responsibilities, You Will
- Own and manage the SAP Fieldglass current modules i.e. Profile Worker / resource tracking
- Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and acceptance ceremonies for the support squad
- Translate the voice and needs of customer into user stories and acceptance criteria for enhancements and fixes, engaging users as needed,
- Serve as primary point of contact for HR, Procurement, and Finance stakeholders for operational needs
- Prioritize and triage incoming enhancement requests via a well-organized backlog of user stories and clearly communicate what needs to be done and by when
- Ensure system stability and oversee minor configuration changes
- Support quarterly release reviews and regression testing cycles
- Monitor product performance and operational KPIs
- Escalate transformation-related or strategic decisions appropriately
- Maintain documentation, governance standards, and audit compliance
- Track product performance to inform future work
- Deliver on specific and measurable Key Results to be defined for your Squad
- Prioritize work
- Engage with Chapter Leads regarding resourcing and functional expertise required in Squad
YOU'RE GOOD AT
- Managing a live SaaS application in steady-state mode while improving incrementally.
- Balancing competing stakeholder priorities

You Bring (experience & Qualifications)
- 5–8+ years in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or senior Product Analyst role
- 2+ years hands-on experience with SAP Fieldglass
- Strong functional understanding of contingent workforce processes, especially related to consulting or professional services organizations
- Experience managing SaaS applications in BAU environments
- Proven backlog ownership in Agile frameworks
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience supporting global user bases preferred
- Agile certification (CSPO or equivalent) preferred
- Bachelor's degree required
- Exceptional communications and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in consulting is a plus
YOU'LL WORK WITH
- Every member of your squad (Product Analyst, SAAS Engineer, Scrum master)
- Internal customers, translating their voice and needs into user stories and engaging users as needed
- Product Team and Portfolio Leaders, who will set the vision, roadmap, budget, and priorities for the Product Portfolio and subsequently, for the squads
- Technical Area Leaders, who will drive alignment between strategic architecture and product vision
- Scrum Leads, which will act as your right hand to remove impediments and will assist you in dealing with the different artifacts and ceremonies
- Other Product Directors within the org, to share best practices and ensure alignment between squads and a culture
