- Conduct audits and training sessions as per the defined audit criteria and standards.
- Stay updated on skill development, code qualifications, regulatory, and industry requirements related to audits and certifications.
- Maintain competence and qualifications in various standards such as BRCGS Food, Packaging, FSSC, ISO 22000, GMP, etc.
- Continuously upgrade knowledge of the local social, economic, and business environment.
- Ensure timely turnaround (TAT) of audit reports in compliance with Eurofins procedures.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Mentor and support technical executives, auditors, and back-office staff.
- Monitor and support operational activities to ensure smooth functioning.
Key Duties
- Uphold impartiality during certification activities and take independent action when necessary (e.g., informing authorities, accreditation bodies, stakeholders).
- Demonstrate management expertise with the ability to lead, make decisions, and review technical manager decisions related to certification and verification.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders including the Impartiality Committee and Directors.
- Ensure timely updating of qualifications and competencies, and oversee satisfactory completion of training, calibration meetings, training audits, witness audits, and approvals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, preferably Food Science.
- Lead auditor certification in FSMS, FSSC, QMS, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, technical roles, or audits—preferably from a Certification Body (CB).
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the food industry, preferably in production or quality departments.
