Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Audit & Training Delivery

  • Conduct third-party audits and training sessions per BRCGS, FSSC, ISO 22000, GMP, and other relevant standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date qualifications and stay informed about changes in regulatory, industrial, and code requirements.
  • Ensure audit report submission meets Turnaround Time (TAT) requirements.
  • Remain updated on local business, economic, and social environments to assess contextual relevance during audits.

Leadership & Supervision

  • Mentor and support technical executives, auditors, and back-office executives.
  • Monitor operational performance and provide guidance to maintain quality and compliance.
  • Lead impartial and ethical certification processes, ensuring independence in actions when needed.
  • Review certification decisions taken by technical managers for alignment with policy.

Stakeholder Management

  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders including accreditation bodies, directors, and impartiality committees.
  • Participate in meetings, training audits, witness audits, and calibration sessions to ensure continued auditor competency and consistency.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Science or relevant discipline (required).
  • Certifications: Certified Lead Auditor in FSMS/FSSC 22000, QMS, or equivalent (mandatory).
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in auditing, technical operations, or related roles in food safety, certifications, or quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements (BRCGS, ISO, GMP, etc.).
  • Experience in handling audit planning, execution, and certification lifecycle preferred.
