Lead Architect

Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, we are looking for Lead Architect responsible for designing scalable, high-performance systems aligned with business goals. Guides cross-functional teams through architectural decisions, ensuring technical excellence and innovation.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business Smart Power Division in Bangalore, India

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Define the end-to-end architecture for Digital Twin and Digital Engineering Solutions and its integration with multiple ABB tools, and services, ensuring alignment with ELSP's enterprise architecture strategy.

• Represent the Center of Excellence Digital Engineering Team in cross-team and third-party architecture discussions, influencing design decisions to meet business and technical goals.

• Own andmaintainthesolution architecture lifecycle- from requirements gathering and design, through documentation and governance, to evolution and continuous improvement.

• Lead the technical design ofcomplex integrationswith internal systems and external vendor solutions.

• Ensure solution designs adhere tosecurity best practices, data privacy requirements, and ABB's technical roadmap.

• Coordinate with vendor teams/agencies, managing technical dependencies, timelines, and potential blockers.

• Providearchitecture guidance and mentorshipto development teams, enabling high-quality and sustainable delivery.

• Conductarchitecture reviewsandidentifyoptimization opportunities for performance, maintainability, and cost efficiency and Create andmaintainclear technical documentationto ensure ongoing support and effective knowledge transfer.

Qualifications for the role :

• Bachelor's ormaster's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or relatedfield.

• Proven experience (7+ years) as aSolution Architect,Integration Architect, orLead Developerin complex enterprise environments.

• Extensive experience with Azure services and Docker/AKS.

• Extensive experience in designing and implementing high-performance web applications using .NET (C#), ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, and WCF (Windows Communication Foundation)

• Demonstratedexpertisein both front-end and back-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js

• Excellent communication skills - able to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with ahands-on and ownership-driven approach.

• Ability tonavigate complex organizational structuresand influence without direct authority.
