What would you be doing
Android App Development and Performance
- Design and implement Android applications capable of scaling from thousands to millions of active users without performance degradation
- Architect and optimize app infrastructure to handle 100K+ concurrent users with sub-3 second app launch times across diverse device types
- Implement advanced performance monitoring and optimization strategies to maintain smooth operation at massive scale
- Reduce app size and memory footprint while supporting exponential user growth through efficient resource management
UI/UX Implementation
- Develop highly scalable UI components that perform consistently at scale
- Achieve and maintain 99.9%+ crash-free rates even under extreme load conditions
- Build responsive interfaces that handle high-volume, real-time data updates without UI lag or freezing
- Implement progressive loading and lazy rendering techniques to ensure smooth user experience at scale
Data Management and Offline Functionality
- Design distributed caching strategies capable of handling millions of user sessions simultaneously
- Implement efficient data synchronization algorithms that scale linearly with user growth
- Architect offline-first functionality that can handle TB-scale local data across the entire user base
- Build robust conflict resolution mechanisms for concurrent data modifications from millions of users
Innovation and Technology Adoption
- Implement cutting-edge performance optimization techniques proven to work at million-user scale
- Design and deploy features that reduce server load by 50%+ through intelligent client-side processing
- Achieve sub-100ms response times for critical user actions regardless of concurrent user count
- Pioneer adoption of new Android technologies that enable better scalability and performance at massive scale
What makes you a suitable candidate
We're looking for an Android maestro who brings:
- 3-7 years of hands-on experience in Android development, with proven track record of working on scalable apps
- Demonstrated experience in scaling Android applications from startup to million-user scale
- Deep understanding of performance optimization, memory management, and scalability patterns for high-traffic mobile applications
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Java with focus on writing highly performant, scalable code
- Expert-level knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and modern Android architecture components with emphasis on scalability
- Experience with distributed systems concepts, caching strategies, and handling high-volume API traffic
- Familiarity with performance profiling tools, APM solutions, and large-scale app monitoring
- Familiarity with MMP and product analytics tools like Mixpanel, Firebase, Clevertap etc
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines optimized for high-frequency deployments
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code that scales with team and user growth
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments
