Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Landscape Architect based in Chennai, with an opportunity for partial remote work. The Landscape Architect will be responsible for designing and planning sustainable landscapes, creating planting plans, and overseeing landscape projects that align with Eco Society India's mission of ecosystem restoration. The role involves engaging with communities, conducting site analyses, and ensuring projects promote environmental and ecological balance.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Landscape Planning and Landscape Architecture
- Experience in Landscape Design and Landscaping
- Ability to create precise and aesthetically mindful Planting Plans
- Proficiency in using design software and tools relevant to landscape architecture
- Strong understanding of sustainability, ecological restoration principles, and biodiversity
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate design concepts effectively
- Excellent project management skills, including task prioritization and time management
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Landscape Architecture or a related field
- Prior experience working on eco-restoration projects or community-focused initiatives is an advantage
