Job Title: L1 Support Engineer

Experience: 1–2 Years

Location: Kolkata

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for an L1 Support Engineer to provide first-level technical support and ensure smooth IT operations. The role involves handling user issues, basic troubleshooting, and escalating complex incidents while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues
  • Respond to tickets, emails, and calls within SLA
  • Troubleshoot basic IT issues (OS, applications, connectivity)
  • Log and track incidents using ticketing tools
  • Escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 teams
  • Assist in user account management and access requests
  • Maintain documentation of issues and resolutions

Required Skills

  • Basic knowledge of Windows OS and desktop support
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, IP, DNS)
  • Familiarity with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
  • Good communication and customer handling skills
  • Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
  • Willingness to work in shifts
