Key Responsibilities
SAP PLM Development & Design
- Design and develop SAP PLM solutions based on business requirements
- Work extensively on SAP ABAP WRICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Extensions)
- Develop and enhance PLM functionalities ensuring alignment with business processes
- Perform technical design and development using WebDynpro with Floorplan Manager (FPM) UI
Requirement Analysis & Technical Documentation
- Analyze business requirements and convert them into detailed technical specifications
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand process flows and solution expectations
- Prepare design documents, technical specifications, and development documentation
Integration & System Understanding
- Ensure smooth integration of SAP PLM with other SAP modules (such as MM, SD, PP, etc.)
- Understand end-to-end SAP system architecture and cross-module dependencies
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Perform unit testing based on functional specifications and test scripts
- Document test results and ensure adherence to quality standards
- Support functional teams during integration and user acceptance testing
Incident & Defect Management
- Analyze and resolve production defects, break-fix issues, and enhancement requests
- Work on minor and major enhancements based on business needs
- Retest fixes and ensure successful deployment to production systems
Production Support & Maintenance
- Provide ongoing support for SAP PLM production issues
- Respond to incidents raised by business users and ensure timely resolution
- Maintain system stability and ensure minimal downtime
Tools & Collaboration
- Use project tools such as JIRA, Dynamics, Rev-Tracks, or similar defect tracking systems
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including functional consultants and business stakeholders
- Participate in agile/sprint-based development and delivery cycles
