Key Account Manager (KAM) – B2B Wholesale (Tableware, Kitchenware & Luggage)

About the Role

The Key Account Manager (KAM) manages top-tier B2B wholesale accounts across a PAN-India territory. This role drives revenue growth in the Tableware, Kitchenware, and Luggage categories by managing General Trade channels, actively acquiring new corporate clients, and unlocking corporate gifting opportunities for Multinational Companies (MNCs).

Responsibilities

  • Channel & Territory Management
  • Manage and develop PAN-India wholesale accounts to scale high-volume sales.
  • Prospect, pitch, and activate new accounts across unrepresented Indian markets.
  • Oversee General Trade channels by strengthening distributor networks.
  • Expand corporate gifting revenue by pitching to multinational companies (MNCs).
  • Travel across major Indian retail hubs to audit market presence.
  • Account Strategy & Growth
  • Develop annual sales plans to meet regional and national targets.
  • Negotiate commercial wholesale terms, including bulk margins and credit terms.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with corporate buyers and distributors.
  • Identify bulk order opportunities for seasonal festival gifting campaigns.
  • Product & Category Management
  • Curate product assortments across cookware, dinnerware, and luggage lines.
  • Align inventory procurement with high-volume corporate and wholesale demands.
  • Capture high-potential market opportunities by identifying emerging consumer trends and introducing relevant products tailored for the Indian market. 1

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree; MBA in Sales or Marketing is preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years in B2B wholesale or corporate account management.

Required Skills

  • Business Development: Proven track record in lead generation and client acquisition.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of General Trade and MNC corporate gifting.
  • Category Expertise: Direct experience managing Tableware, Kitchenware, or Luggage lines.
  • PAN-India Market Knowledge: Deep structural understanding of regional wholesale hubs, local buyer behaviors, and diverse distribution dynamics across India.
  • B2B Negotiation: Strong capability to close large-scale bulk supply contracts.
  • Network Execution: Established relationships with major Indian distributors and MNC HR/procurement teams.
  • Data Analytics: Proficiency in wholesale distribution tracking and Excel.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively across India as required.
