Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, configure, and administer on-premise Kafka clusters.
Design and define Kafka architecture, implementation standards, and best practices.
Manage Kafka ecosystem components: Kafka Brokers, Zookeeper, Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, KSQL, REST Proxy, Control Center.
Create and manage topics, partitions, replication, and redundancy setups.
Ensure high availability, performance tuning, and benchmarking of Kafka clusters.
Implement monitoring and alerting using tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana.
Automate deployments using Docker, Jenkins, and GitLab.
Implement access control, Kerberos & SSL security configurations, and compliance strategies.
Develop producer/consumer stubs for multi-platform integration.
Participate in capacity planning, architecture discussions, and troubleshooting activities.
Mentor team members and support 24/7 rotational operations.
