About the Role: Sociomark is looking for a dynamic Social Media Manager to handle the digital presence of the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC). This is a high-impact role where you will be the voice of the corporation, working directly from the TMC headquarters to capture and communicate vital civic updates.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Creation: Ideate, draft, and design engaging content tailored for TMC's audience.
- On-Ground Coverage: Accompany TMC officials on visits and attend events to capture live footage (shoots/photography) for social media.
- Account Management: Manage daily posting schedules and ensure timely dissemination of information.
- Reporting: Track performance metrics and generate regular reports on engagement and reach.
- Flexibility: Work according to the TMC schedule, which may include covering official activities outside standard hours.
Requirements
- Language Proficiency: Native-level fluency in Marathi (Written & Spoken) is non-negotiable.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site daily at the TMC Office in Thane.
- Agility: Ability to work in a fast-paced government environment and adapt to changing schedules.
