Job Description

About the Company
Jetbro is a Digital Transformation and systems integration firm that builds reliable, scalable digital systems for organisations where technology is central to everyday operations. We specialise in infrastructure-led digital transformation, custom product development, systems integration, and strategic technology consulting.

We believe in building systems that work quietly, reliably, and under pressure. Our philosophy is simple: function over flash.

This role is part of Jetbro's engagement with Safal, where we are rebuilding and evolving their core product platform. The Junior Project Manager will work closely with Safal's Product Lead, CEO, engineering teams, and client teams to ensure that the product evolves based on real-world usage, client feedback, and market needs. You will be the bridge between what clients need and what the product should become.
About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Project Manager with a technical background (computer science, engineering, or equivalent technical experience) and 0–2 years of PM or product-adjacent experience. This is an early-career role for someone sharp, curious, and ready to have direct impact on how a product evolves.
This role is fundamentally about understanding the product deeply and ensuring it evolves to meet real client needs. You will spend time understanding what Safal's procurement SaaS platform contains, how clients use it, what they struggle with, and what they need next. You will gather feedback during implementations, analyse patterns, and work with the Product Lead and CEO to prioritise new features and improvements.

You will not just manage tasks. You will be responsible for understanding the product, gathering and synthesising client feedback, identifying gaps between what clients need and what the product offers, supporting implementations to ensure smooth client experiences, and providing insights that drive product development decisions.

This role requires someone with a technical foundation who can understand system architecture, APIs, and technical constraints; who can communicate with engineers about what's possible; and who can also translate technical concepts into business value for clients and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Product Knowledge & Mastery: Develop deep understanding of Safal's procurement SaaS platform—what it can do, how it works, what its limitations are, and how clients use it. Become the go-to person for questions about product capabilities, configuration options, and technical constraints.

Feedback Collection & Analysis: Gather feedback from clients during implementations and post-launch. Conduct feedback sessions with clients to understand their pain points, what's working well, and what they need next. Synthesise feedback into patterns and insights that inform product decisions.

Feature Development Support: Work with the Product Lead and CEO to analyse client feedback and market needs. Help prioritise new features based on client demand, business impact, and technical feasibility. Document feature requests with clear context and reasoning.

Implementation Support: Support the Delivery Manager during client implementations. Understand how clients are configuring and using the product. Identify gaps between product capabilities and client needs. Provide product expertise to help resolve configuration challenges or identify workarounds.

Cross-Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate between internal teams (engineering, product, delivery) and external stakeholders (clients). Ensure that client feedback reaches the right internal teams. Ensure that product decisions are communicated back to clients when relevant.

Technical Problem-Solving: Work with engineering teams to understand technical constraints and possibilities. Help identify whether a client need requires a product change, a configuration adjustment, or a workaround. Propose pragmatic solutions that balance client needs with technical feasibility.

Documentation & Knowledge Management: Document product features, capabilities, limitations, and configuration options. Create materials that help the Delivery Manager and clients understand how to use the product effectively. Maintain a feedback log and feature request tracker.

Market & Competitive Insights: Stay aware of market trends, competitor offerings, and industry best practices in procurement SaaS. Bring insights to the Product Lead and CEO about what's happening in the market and how Safal should respond.

Client Success Monitoring: Monitor how clients are using the product post-launch. Identify adoption issues, feature utilisation patterns, and opportunities for driving greater value realisation. Flag clients who are struggling or at risk of churn.

Product Roadmap Support: Assist the Product Lead and CEO in developing and communicating the product roadmap. Help prioritise features, estimate effort with engineering teams, and communicate decisions to stakeholders.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical field, OR

    • Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases, and system design at a conceptual level
    • Ability to read and understand technical documentation and communicate with engineers
  • Product & PM Experience:
    • 0–2 years of experience in product management, product operations, or product-adjacent roles (customer success, implementation, technical support, or similar)
    • Demonstrated ability to gather, analyse, and synthesise feedback from multiple sources
    • Understanding of how SaaS products are built, deployed, and used by clients
    • Ability to think about problems from both technical and business perspectives

  • Problem-Solving & Analysis:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to identify patterns in feedback and data

    • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to make decisions with incomplete information

    • Ability to create clear, structured documentation

  • User Research: Experience conducting user interviews or usability testing.
  • Technical Certifications: AWS, GCP, or other technical certifications that demonstrate technical depth.
  • Startup or Fast-Growing Company Experience: Experience in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where you had to wear multiple hats.
What We Care About
  • Product thinking over task management – You think about how to solve problems for clients and evolve the product, not just about completing tasks on a list.
  • Curiosity over assumptions – You ask questions, learn how the product actually works, and validate assumptions with real client feedback rather than guessing.
  • Client insights over internal politics – You bring the voice of the customer into internal discussions and advocate for what clients actually need.
  • Technical depth over surface-level understanding – You understand the product and system architecture at a conceptual level so you can have meaningful conversations with engineers.
  • Pragmatism over perfection – You understand that sometimes a workaround or configuration change is better than waiting for a perfect feature. You make trade-off decisions based on client impact.
  • Structured documentation over tribal knowledge – You create clear documentation so knowledge doesn't live only in your head and can be shared across teams.
  • Ownership over escalation – You take responsibility for understanding problems and proposing solutions, escalating only when necessary.
  • Continuous learning over knowing everything – You're early in your career and you don't know everything. You learn quickly, ask for help when needed, and grow from every project.
About You:
You are technically minded—you have a computer science or engineering background, or you have worked in technical roles. You understand how software works at a conceptual level. You can read technical documentation, understand system architecture, and have meaningful conversations with engineers. You're not necessarily a software developer, but you think like one.

You are curious and ask good questions. You want to understand how things work and why decisions are made. You listen more than you talk. You're comfortable admitting when you don't know something and asking for help.

You are a problem solver with strong analytical skills. You can gather information from multiple sources, identify patterns, and propose pragmatic solutions. You think about problems from multiple angles—technical, business, and user perspectives.

You are proactive and take ownership. You don't wait to be told what to do. You identify problems, propose solutions, and drive them forward. You have a strong sense of responsibility for outcomes.

You are organised and detail-oriented. You create clear documentation and keep track of information so it's accessible to others. You're not lost in process, but you understand that structure and clarity matter.

You are excited about working in a fast-growing SaaS company where you will directly impact how the product evolves. You see this as an opportunity to learn product management, understand how clients use software, and have a direct hand in shaping Safal's future. You're ready to grow quickly and take on increasing responsibility.

You are someone who thrives in ambiguity. You're comfortable with incomplete information, shifting priorities, and learning on the job. You see challenges as opportunities to grow.
Why this Role Matters:
This is an early-career role with outsized impact. As a Junior PM, you will directly influence how Safal's product evolves. Your feedback analysis will inform feature prioritisation. Your implementation support will help clients succeed. Your insights will shape product strategy. You will work directly with the Product Lead and CEO, giving you exposure to how product decisions are made at a high level.

This role is designed for someone early in their career who is sharp, technical, and ready to have real impact. If you're looking to learn product management while working on a real product with real clients, this is the role for you.
