Key Responsibilities
The Process Engineer supports process engineering activities for refinery, LNG/NGL, AGRU, SRU, and utilities, ensuring accurate preparation of process deliverables and supporting safe and efficient plant design. The role requires coordination with engineering disciplines, vendor follow-up, participation in safety and design review activities, and support for the development of Operating Philosophy Manuals (OPMs).
- Prepare and update process deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, H&MB, datasheets, and process calculations.
- Support preparation and review of Operating Philosophy Manuals (OPMs) by providing process design basis, operating intent, safeguarding philosophy inputs, and technical clarifications.
- Support equipment sizing and selection activities for pumps, exchangers, vessels, compressors, columns, and utilities systems.
- Assist in preparing process inputs for control philosophies, operating philosophies, and cause & effect requirements.
- Support HAZOP, LOPA, SIL, and Risk Assessment activities and assist in closure of action items.
- Coordinate with piping, instrumentation, mechanical, electrical, and safety teams for design integration.
- Ensure all documentation is aligned with project specifications, international codes, and engineering standards.
- Prepare and maintain Simplified Flow Diagrams (SFDs), process sketches, and simplified operating diagrams to support OPMs, operating procedures, and training documentation.
- Develop simplified process illustrations using MS Visio and coordinate with technical writers/drafting teams for accurate representation of process systems.

Work Experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering in Oil & Gas/refinery / LNG projects.
- Good knowledge of refinery processes, gas processing, utilities, AGRU, SRU, or related systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Good command of technical documentation and reporting.
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Proficiency in preparing Simplified Flow Diagrams (SFDs), process sketches, and simplified operating diagrams.
- Exposure to 3D plant models / 3D animated plant diagrams for operational visualization, training, and documentation support.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under time pressure.
