We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior BIM Draftsman to support our design and coordination teams. The candidate will assist in developing Building Information Models, preparing detailed drawings, and ensuring accuracy in project documentation. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in BIM and digital construction workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation and development of BIM models using software such as Autodesk Revit.
- Prepare 2D drawings, layouts, and construction documentation based on project requirements.
- Support senior BIM engineers and coordinators in model development and clash detection.
- Ensure drawings and models comply with project standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams for accurate model integration.
- Revise drawings/models based on feedback and design changes.
- Maintain organized documentation and version control of BIM files.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of BIM processes and workflows.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
- Understanding of construction drawings and detailing.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Navisworks for clash detection.
- Exposure to MEP/structural modeling.
- Basic understanding of LOD (Level of Development) standards.
