Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Architect role based in Coimbatore. The Junior Architect will support senior architects in developing conceptual and detailed architectural designs, including drawings, 3D models, and presentation materials. Daily responsibilities include assisting with design development, preparing and updating construction documents, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and ensuring designs align with functional, aesthetic, and regulatory requirements. The role also involves site visits to monitor progress, document observations, and help resolve design-related issues. The Junior Architect will collaborate closely with the design and project management teams to maintain quality, timelines, and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into clear drawings and models.
- Familiarity with Software Development and Integration as they relate to design tools, BIM platforms, or workflow coordination is an advantage.
- Basic Project Management skills, including task prioritization, time management, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and presentation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office).
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or an equivalent accredited qualification; eligibility or progress toward professional licensure is a plus.
- Knowledge of building codes, local regulations, and construction practices, preferably within the Indian context.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Willingness to learn, take feedback constructively, and work primarily on-site at project and office locations in Coimbatore.
