Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Junior Accountant. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements within a real estate development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions using Tally Prime and accounting systems
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment tracking
• Handle petty cash management and site-level expense monitoring
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Process purchase bills, vendor invoices, and financial entries
• Assist in GST return filing and compliance
• Support TDS calculations and statutory compliance
• Maintain proper documentation, data, filings, and audit-ready records
• Assist in preparation of financial statements and internal reports
• Support internal audits, budgeting, and financial planning activities
• Coordinate with internal teams and site staff for financial data
• Provide administrative and accounting support as required

Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounting principles, bookkeeping, and handling financial transactions.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, and bank reconciliation.
• Familiarity with accounting software and tools such as Tally Prime.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and data accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills for meeting deadlines and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience in accounts payable, receivable, invoices, GST filings and bank reconciliation
• Knowledge of tax compliance, project finance and financial regulations is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.

Job Details

Location: Near Borivali West Station

Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Monday to Saturday) (1 hour lunch break)

Compensation: 20,000 – 25,000 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Annual Casual and Sick Leave: 12 days (no carry-forward)

Additional Public Holidays: 7 days (no carry-forward)
