Puffy is a Top 5 US direct-to-consumer mattress brand with over $1 Billion in sales is looking for a detail-oriented, self-driven Junior Accountant to join our lean accounting team in Dubai. You'll own day-to-day accounting operations, reconciliations, and financial reporting across our portfolio, keeping the books clean, accurate, and audit-ready while leveraging AI to do it faster and smarter than the traditional playbook allows.

What You'll Need:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
Minimum 1 year of hands-on accounting experience
Strong grasp of accounting fundamentals and double-entry bookkeeping
Working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS standards
Moderate to advanced proficiency in Excel (lookups, pivots, data validation)
Prior experience with cloud-based accounting tools such as QuickBooks Online or ZohoBooks
Demonstrated ability to adapt to and work with AI tools like Claude for Excel, Artifacts etc. in a professional context
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks independently
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving tools and processes

Good-to-Have:

Experience with US sales tax compliance and reporting
Familiarity with UAE tax regulations (VAT)
Prior exposure to eCommerce accounting workflows
Experience with Excel automations
