Job Description
The Jr. Migration Engineer is an entry level position. The Jr. Data migration Engineer is responsible for performing data migration from various EMR systems to new platforms or Ellkay data archiving solution LKOASIS. This role involves collaborating with the Project Manager to understand their requirements, developing migration plans, and ensuring timely project delivery.
Work Hours - 2 PM to 11 PM (IST)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform data migration of both structured and unstructured data from various EMR systems, ensuring seamless migration to new EMR platforms and archives.
- Collaborate with Project managers to understand their project scope, analyze their data, and develop a detailed delivery plan.
- Coordinate project deliverables by working closely with various internal teams.
- Proactively identify potential issues and implement resolution strategies to minimize any impact on the project.
- Conduct data validation and testing to guarantee the accuracy and integrity of the migrated data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 0-1+ year Experience
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to exercise effective decision-making capabilities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
