Job Description – Head/Director – Placements & Corporate Relations
Location: Delhi
Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned leader to head Placements & Corporate Relations, who can architect and
scale a high-impact industry engagement ecosystem. This role is central to institutional
growth—driving not just placements, but long-term corporate partnerships, global opportunities, and a
strong employer brand. The mandate is to build a future-ready, industry-aligned talent pipeline, while positioning the institute among the most preferred hiring destinations.
This is a critical leadership role with high visibility, offering a highly competitive and lucrative

Key Responsibilities
Institutional Strategy & Growth
● Define and drive a long-term vision for placements, corporate relations, and industry partnerships
● Build scalable models across placements, executive education, alumni engagement, and industry collaboration
● Leverage market intelligence, hiring trends, and recruiter insights to continuously strengthen
outcomes and positioning
Corporate & CXO Engagement
● Build and sustain relationships with CXOs, CHROs, business leaders, and key decision-makers across sectors
● Drive strategic partnerships including MoUs, Hire-Train-Deploy models, global hiring pipelines, and consulting engagements
● Personally anchor relationships with key recruiters to ensure repeat engagement and long-term association
Placement Excellence & Outcomes
● Lead end-to-end placement strategy ensuring consistent, high-quality outcomes across programs
● Drive growth in average/median CTCs, marquee recruiters, international placements, and multiple offers
● Ensure a best-in-class recruiter experience, with seamless execution and zero escalations
Ecosystem Building (Beyond Placements)
● Integrate placements, alumni relations, executive education, and industry interface into a unified ecosystem
● Drive initiatives like CXO conclaves, leadership series, industry immersions, and global outreach
● Build strong alumni engagement for mentorship, hiring, and brand advocacy
Leadership & Team Building
● Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team with clear KRAs and accountability frameworks
● Build capability in corporate outreach, relationship management, and data-driven execution
● Foster a culture of ownership, agility, and performance excellence
Governance, Analytics & Institutional Alignment
● Drive data-backed decision-making through dashboards, market analytics, and recruiter feedback
● Ensure alignment with accreditation, rankings, and regulatory frameworks (NIRF, NBA, AICTE, etc.)
● Collaborate closely with academic leadership to embed industry relevance and employability into programs
Candidate Profile
● MBA/PGDM (PhD preferred) with 18+ years of experience in placements, corporate relations, or institutional partnerships
● Proven leadership experience in top B-Schools / universities, handling large-scale placement ecosystems
● Strong network with senior corporate leaders and hiring decision-makers across industries
● Demonstrated success in driving 100% placements, improving salary benchmarks, and onboarding marquee recruiters
● Experience in international placements, partnerships, or executive education will be a strong advantage
● Strategic mindset with the ability to build, scale, and institutionalize processes
