We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer II to join a fast-paced engineering team working on critical, time-sensitive projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Data Structures & Algorithms, AWS Cloud, and Distributed Systems, along with exposure to AI-driven software development practices.

This role offers an opportunity to work on innovative solutions, implement cloud-native architectures, and contribute to the integration of Generative AI capabilities within the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications using Java.
• Develop monitoring solutions and automate operational support processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in internally developed applications.
• Design and implement distributed systems using AWS serverless technologies.
• Build, deploy, and maintain GenAI-enabled solutions within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Improve application reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and support procedures.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Strong programming expertise in Java.
• Excellent knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services.
• Experience designing and building distributed systems.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and engineering best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) technologies and AI-assisted development tools.
• Exposure to cloud-native and serverless architectures.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability solutions.
